Make the coffee a focus point of your shop, do not hide it around the back. Coffee is an impulse buy and it also generates additional sales in the form of Donuts, Cakes and Pastries (All high margin items).

Our coffee has become so popular we have installed a second machine and we now sell around 30,000 hot beverages per year, not bad for a small, rural convenience store.

One of the main factors for the popularity of our coffee is the price, we keep it below our competitors but as coffee is a high margin product, we still generate substantial profits from every cup.

Another selling point for our coffee given that it is a machine made is that as a great cup, it is identical every time. Human made coffee is reliant upon the skill of the Barista so when you get a coffee from us, not only is it great, it will be great every time.
